The true identity of people of God is firstly related to service. For Christians, the service is not only offered in a limited time and space on a special day but in a whole life process offering “the bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God” as “spiritual act of worship.”
Evangelism & Outreach
In Jesus’ Great Commission, He said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (Mark 16:15) All the believers are asked to follow what Jesus commanded at the end of His ministry on earth.
Systematic Bible Study
As Christians, we believe that the Bible is the roadmap that guides us through this life. As most of us who have ever attempted self-study of the Bible can attest to, its golden lessons are sometimes clouded by our lack of understanding.
Learning the Bible is not only for pastors or seminary students. The Word of God says: “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” (1 Peter 3:15)
In Christian life, fellowship among brothers, sisters in Christ is a joy of God’s blessing. At Immanuel, cell groups serve as the ministry that initiate various fellowship events and provide the tracks of many different fellowship groups to exist with a diverse of activities according to their common interests.
Prayer is the very means of coming closer to God. It is a way for us to deeply experience God’s healing and restoration. Through unceasing prayers, it mediates the work of the Holy Spirit and hopes for healing to be brought to the many wounded souls.
